April 11 - At Sea

Today was our first sea day, and the only one on this segment, so it was nice to have a break.  We went for coffee and then breakfast in Compass Rose.  I attended the lecture entitled "From Being a Miracle to Needing One" about the rise and fall (and perhaps rise again) of Japan's economy.  And after that, we did a whole lot of laziness until Trivia.  There was a seafood buffet at the pool grill for lunch, which they had to move inside because today has been very windy and a little bumpy.

We had our best score at Trivia with 11/15, but it wasn't enough to get us any points. Then we gathered in Steve and Leona's suite for a drink and pupus.  Tomorrow will be their last full day with us.  Then off to Krew Kapers, the show that some of the crew put on at the end of each segment.  This time the show was almost entirely different from the last couple of cruises we've been on.

We had an invitation this morning to join the Cruise Director, Paul Reynolds, for dinner in Compass Rose.  We know Paul from our Grand Arctic cruise in the summer of 2022.  He is a fun guy and we had lots of laughs.

Here are a couple of photos from the ship.
